Step 1: Launch Google Chrome

Begin with launching your Microsoft Edge web browser.

Option 1: Sign in to sync data to you account

When you turn on sync, all your profile information is saved to your Google Account. If you don't want to sync everything, you can change what info is saved.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, select More > Settings > You and Google.

  3. Select Sync and Google services.

    • To find out what you've synced, select Review your synced data.

  4. Under "Sync," select Manage what you sync.

  5. Select your sync option:

    • To sync all of your data, select Sync everything.

    • To choose which data you want synced, select Customize sync.

Option 2: Export bookmarks

Move or export bookmarks to another browser

If you decide to use a different browser, you can take your Chrome bookmarks with you.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, select More > Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark Manager.

  3. At the top, select More > Export Bookmarks.

Chrome exports your bookmarks as an HTML file. Use this file to import your bookmarks into another browser.

Make sure to export both Bookmarks Bar and other bookmarks:

Save the HTML files to your cloud storage.
